Parsec is a free program which you can use to stream your desktop to other users. The wonderful people at have delivered an amazing free tool which you can use as a workaround. Unfortunately, this would require 6-9 months of work for 2-3 programmers and so we decided that we won't be able to pull it off. The main problem with the game is that it’s heavily physics based and it affects gameplay, thus we would have to make the physics 100% predictable or to completely rework the whole framework for it to be able to send physics information in multiplayer. Unfortunately, despite our multiple attempts and best intentions, we have not delivered the online version of the co-op game mode.
EXOR Studios happens to be the same studio behind one of the year’s most notable indie strategy games, The Riftbreaker, but unlike that title, which centers around mechs, X-Morph: Defense plants players into the role of an alien. We have always been fans of this style of gameplay. GOG is currently giving away free copies of X-Morph: Defense Complete Edition, a sci-fi strategy title created by Polish developer and publisher EXOR Studios. It builds bonds and evokes emotions difficult to find elsewhere. X-Morph doesn’t try to revolutionize either of its sub-genres, but rather takes what works from each and specializes in delivering on bullet hell and tower defense high points particularly well and integrating them into one fluid package, making X-Morph: Defense a solid option when you need to scratch that tower defense itch.
Being able to play on one couch with friends or family is a completely different experience than playing solo. Since the launch of X-Morph: Defense one of its major strengths was the local co-op functionality.
